Farmers’ Markets around the Triangle

Visiting farmers’ markets is a great way to spend a morning or afternoon, get some delicious and healthy food, and support the local community. Most of these markets have a wide variety of goods and only sell products that were grown or produced within a 100 miles or less. Close proximity means that goods are usually fresher and less filled with preservatives and other harmful stuff. Below I’ve listed several markets around our area, though the list is not exhaustive. Many have different hours during the spring and summer and products that shift with the seasons. Growers are always happy to chat about their produce, and you’re usually buying from people that have helped to grow or produce the goods.
