Where: NC State Fairgrounds, Raleigh

When: Friday-Sunday, April 5-7

The NC State Fairgrounds will be abuzz with all sorts of exhibitions covering everything home. If you’re looking for some ideas to decorate your new home or a change to your current one the home show is a great place to start. I have free tickets if you’re attending. Just text, call or email me.

Southern Women’s Show at the Fairgrounds

Where: NC State Fairgrounds, Raleigh

When: Friday-Sunday, April 12-14

“Shop, sample and share the fun at the Triangle’s favorite event for women.  Discover hundreds of boutiques filled with the latest fashions, trendy jewelry, gourmet treats, health and beauty, and so much more. Enjoy fashion shows, top chefs, and celebrity guests. Bring your mom, sister, and best friend and spend the day doing everything you love!”

Great Grapes: 16th Annual Wine & Food Fest

Where: Koka Booth Amphitheatre

When: Saturday, April 13, 11 am – 6 pm

A celebration of North Carolina’s growing wine industry, the festival will feature 200+ wines from over 22 NC wineries as well as live music, great food and more. Unlimited wine samples and a souvenir wine glass come with admission. Kids under 12 are free.

Mid-Town Square Spring Festival

Where: Bond Brother’s Beer Company, Cary

When: Saturday, April 13,

According to VisitRaleigh.com “this free-admission festival features food trucks, local artists, live music and, of course, Bond Brothers’ award-winning brews (new releases and special casks included!). Kids and leashed dogs are welcome at the brewery but heads up—this event will draw a big crowd!”

Brewgaloo

Where: Downtown Raleigh

When: Friday and Saturday, April 26, 27

April is North Carolina Craft Beer Month and Brewgaloo is the largest NC Craft beer festival. The two-day event features food trucks, live music, vendors and of course lots and lots of local beer.

Downtown Raleigh Treasure Hunt

Where: Starts at Paddy O’Beers, Raleigh Warehouse District

When: Saturday, April 27, Starts at 6 pm

The 60-90 minute treasure hunt will start at Paddy O’Beers and take participants for a short jaunt around the neighborhood as they solve puzzles and follow clues to find the treasure chest. The winner gets a grand prize and all participants get a drink.
